Most of these songs were inspired by the Dean Stockwell-Herb Berman screenplay "After The Goldrush". 'After The Gold Rush' below the spindle hole, not above as in other versions. Labels say 1970, sleeve says ℗ 1972 near bottom. Below the catalogue numbers and "stereo" on the right hand side is a "v". K 44088 (6383) is used on rear of sleeve below Reprise 'r' logo. Spine, labels use simply K 44088. Label has no WMG (Saul Bass) ⓦ logo at the end of the label rim text. A REPRISE record distributed by WEA RECORDS LTD., ℗ 1972 Sleeve printed and made by MacNeill Press Ltd., London, S.E.1 B6 Title appears as "Crippled Creek Ferry" on rear of gatefold sleeve, but as "Cripple Creek Ferry" on Side B paper label. The artist Neil Young only sings "Cripple Creek Ferry" in the chorus of that song.
